Krave Super Bowl Chile-Cheese Crowd Pleaser
½ lb. grated Jack cheese
½ lb. grated cheddar cheese
2 4-oz. cans diced green chiles, drained
¾-1 cup diced Krave Garlic Chili or Chipotle Jerky (amount used results in milder or spicier)
? cup flour
12 oz. whole milk
4 eggs, beaten
½ tsp. salt
Preheat oven to 350°. Layer half the Jack cheese and half the cheddar cheese in a 9x13-inch shallow baking dish. Spread chiles over cheese and sprinkle jerky on top. Add remaining cheeses on top.
Mix a little milk into the flour and stir briskly to make a thin paste and dissolve any lumps. Add eggs, remaining milk and salt, whisk well, and pour over cheese mixture.
Bake for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown and solid. Serve hot, room temperature or chilled.
Note: baking dish size is flexible, and adjust baking time according to size – cook until golden brown and solid (doesn’t jiggle).
Makes about 24 bite-sized squares.
