Born and raised in the celebrated vineyards, coveted micro-climates and renowned gourmet outposts of California's Sonoma Wine Country came, of all things, KRAVE. Founded in 2009, the idea was simple: to change the perception of jerky.

We transformed it from a not-all-that-yummy, corner-store snack food with little imagination to a readily available, flavor-forward, better-for-you snack, ditching the nitrites and grisly texture for bold, culinary-inspired flavors and tender, slow-cooked cuts.

The result? Jerky you could KRAVE — and also feel good about eating.
